un batteur (électrique) : hand mixer

Il y a de l’eau chaude dans la bouilloire?
Is there hot water in the kettle?

une cafetière : coffee maker / coffee pot

I make my smoothie in the blender.

un ouvre-boîtes : can opener

L’ouvre-boîtes est électrique.
The can opener is electric.

un placard : cabinet

Les boîtes sont dans le placard.
The cans are in the cabinet.

une plaque de cuisson : cooktop

Dans la cuisine il y a une plaque de cuisson mais il n’y a pas de four.
In the kitchen there is a cooktop but there is no oven.

un réfrigérateur / un frigo : refrigerator

J’ai de la viande dans le réfrigérateur.
I have some meat in the refrigerator.

un robinet : faucet

Je lave les légumes sous le robinet.
I wash the vegetables under the faucet.
