I don’t think I’m good at the actual travel part of traveling. I’m good once I get to my destination. An example of this was when we were at the airport to leave for the trip and after going through security I lost my plane ticket.  It was a small struggle to get another one and a lot of panicking, but I still made it. I The airport can be either a lot of rushing or waiting depending on the situation both of those things can be stressful especially if you’re waiting next to a screaming two year old that’s pinching you and throwing stuff. I don’t think I like airports because I have bad luck and the people who work there aren’t always the happiest all while being very intimidating.  What I did like was when they stamp your passport and you get this happy feeling.

Once past the airport portions traveling in a car in Costa Rica can be a very scary thing.  To me it seemed like there was no traffic regulations like people kind of just go at their own pace and style of getting where they need to go.  We saw several trucks with at most ten to fifteen people in the back cab and we even had to ride in the back of one ourselves.  It was awesome because here you can’t do things like that.  When we were in a cab going back to the house I thought we were going to die because of how close a bus was to hitting us.  It was pretty scary which is why I screamed a little as the cab driver proceeded to laugh.

When we rode the bus to the animal rescue center it was nothing like I thought it was going to be. For example it wasn’t nearly as hot and crowded or loud.  I was comfortable and enjoyed watching Alysa try to entertain a cute baby.  I don’t think I would ever feel comfortable driving there.  We also saw in many different places babies on the front of motorcycles or bikes riding with their parent(s) I thought this was dangerous.  Even though to me it seemed crazy I never witnessed any accidents or saw a large amount of police which I guess shows their system works for them.
